Michael Longo – Funkia (1974)

with 11 comments

Michael Longo - Funkia (1974)One of two albums Longo release on the Groove Merchant label. A prominently Fender Rhodes album of funky soul jazz recorded with a small but quality group. Includes multiple cover tunes and a couple of originals. Produced by Sonny Lester. Unfortunately My Jazz World at baywords seems to be shut down. I know they shared this awhile ago, and I do not see a copy of it anywhere else. If anyone knows about MJW’s new URL, please let me know.
