A 1958 release by the piano player Phineas Newborn. I’ve been diggin’ some of his LP’s lately and it’s a shame he didn’t make more records in the 60′s. AMG says he was “one of the most technically skilled and brilliant pianists in jazz during his prime.” Shared by AvaxHome sometime ago.
