Quincy Jones – I Heard That!! (1976)

with 2 comments

Quincy Jones - I Heard That!! (1976)I Heard That!! was supposed to be a double LP of new material. Only the first half wound up being new songs and the rest were compiled from previous L.P’s. Most of this record is very enjoyable. HOWEVER, there are some tracks included that are heavily edited such as Killer Joe, Gula Matari, and Walking in Space. The originals version are much longer and much better, so just scroll down a post or two and pick those up if you are interested. Credits here.

1. I Heard That!!
2. Things Could Be Worse for Me
3. What Good Is a Song
4. You Have to Do It Yourself
5. There’s a Train Leavin’
6. Midnight Soul Patrol
7. Brown Soft Shoe
8. Superstition
9. Summer in the City
10. Is It Love That We’re Missing?
11. Body Heat
12. If I Ever Lose This Heaven

14. Gula Matari
15. Theme from the Anderson Tapes
16. Walking in Space
